Installation Process

The G3 chemical is mixed with water through a proportioning unit and injected through steel tubes with specially designed tips.

The G3 chemical is injected in a grid pattern extending 5′ beyond where the proposed new construction will be built.

The Treatment creates an electro-chemical reaction, and as the solution flows through open fissures and platelets in the soil, the pressure of the solution fractures the clay, allowing the solution to fully penetrate the soil.

Under most circumstances, 7,500 square feet of soil can be treated per tractor per day. The grid patterns and depths can be adjusted to meet specific engineering requirements.

Our process prevents serious structural damage and the changes are permanent. No future maintenance needed.

Our process creates an ion exchange, freeing the attached water from the clay while neutralizing the ability of clay to attract and bind to water. The excess water separates from the soil, from the clay soil, increasing the load-bearing strength and minimizes the ability of water to return.

Once injected, the PVR (Potential Vertical Rise) is reduced to approximately 1 inch or less, the need to remove the clay and replace with select fill is not necessary.

Our process permanently alters the clay to prevent a relapse. Results vary depending on the size and expansiveness of the clay strata treated.
